VOC abatement

What are VOCs?

Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) are released in atmosphere by a variety of industries, especially those that use solvents at some stage of their production process.

VOCs have negative effects on human health (respiratory illnesses, cancer, toxic to reproduction) and on environment (crop and vegetation damages, greenhouse gases).

Conventional VOCs control systems are thermal and catalytic oxidizers (huge investment and operating costs, by-products emissions) and adsorption technology based on activated carbon filters.

GRINP technology permits a sustainable, by-products-free and low energy-demanding VOCs removal. Grinp Pair system does not produce special waste, has low energy consumption, low investment and low operating costs.

Grinp technology lowers significantly CO2 emissions. As previously said, the most common method used to abate VOCs is through combustors. Combustors burn methane to increase air temperature up to 700°C to oxidize volatile organic compounds. The amount of methane used is very high and it produces high quantities of CO2. Pair system doesn’t need any methane and produces ZERO CO2

Pair is the solution you are looking for:

  • It is modular and can suit any air flow

  • It is easy to install and easy to use (plug&play);

  • Plasma parameters can be adapted to the characteristics of the flow;

  • It has high abatement rate;

  • It is highly efficient and has low energy consumption;

  • It’s maintenance is not frquent and its cost is low;

  • The process does not need water or chemicals;

  • It does not produce waste to dispose;

  • It does not need metane;

  • It does not produce CO2;

  • It is environmental friendly.
